In our Celebrations Assembly today, we were able to begin our new role as School Ambassadors. This involved celebrating the success of the children in our school and giving out our own awards for people who have impressed us this week.

The School Council met to discuss a fundraising opportunity. On Friday 8th May, we will be raising money for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital, which is a hospital that helps many children. Eddie, from Class 3, is doing a fun-run for this charity as a way to say thank you for the fantastic treatment he has received at this hospital. If your child chooses to come in their own clothes for the day, we kindly request a donation of £1.00.

School Council will be meeting on Thursday morning to discuss the new Difference and Diversity curriculum. We have been enjoying lots of lessons and fun activities, as we have completed the first unit this half term. School Council would like to provide a pupil voice to evaluate our learning and measure the impact of the activities. We may also come up with some new ideas for the next units in the future.Look out for any news on the School Council Board.
