This week, we have been away on our class residential to Standon Bowers. Over the course of three days we have participated in a range of fun and physically demanding activities such as: climbing, raft building, caving, high ropes, archery and riding on BMX bikes. Also the children have had to learn how to look after themselves for example, to make their own beds, clean up after themselves and ensure that they turned up on time for each activity!
Many of the children have overcome great fears, made new friends and grown in confidence. We have been so proud of them – they have been exceptional ambassadors of our school. Every child (and adult) has attempted each challenge with such courage and determination. They have been an absolute pleasure to spend time with and have made some special memories.
If you would like to see some of the things that they have got up to, why not check out our journals (which have been sent home) or see the future display in the corridor.
